Our Focus
Our target concerning indoor air is to encourage the use and provide efficient lamps like solar lamps to households and improved cook stoves.
Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas
Not any social or cultural barriers inherent yet as we are from these areas and being mainly women we are accepted into homes easily. we have been promoting the use of improved cook stoves and lamps but so far have not had any drawbacks yet.
We are trying to go into partnership with some US based organisations to begin a CDM project with an improved cook stove (Stovetec) this is still in the pipe line but the project will ensure the masive dissemination of over 100,000 ICS's
We have been involved with a little of this by carrying out CCT's and WBT's on a variety of stoves.
We currently dont have much of an experience with this but we hope when our cook stove project takes off the need will provide this experience.
