Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas
We are currently working with rural people in Buikwe and Buvuma districts, and we shall soon join on Mukono, Kayunga and Kome districts. Our interventions in these areas have been to teach the community members to make, maintain and use of energy saving cooking stoves, cooking drinking water to avoid water born diseases, the use of planting trees especially fruits and trees for commercial use, better feeding practices for sick and infected people, sustainable agriculture to ensure food security for those affected and infected by HIV, and provision of scholarships for orphaned and vulnerable children.
We have experience in tree planting, making energy saving cooking stoves, marketing fuel efficient cooking stoves to schools and health centers, and water projects. We have a very high interest in market development for improved cooking technologies.
We have experienced staff in making standard cooking, heating and ventilation technologies.
We have expertise in indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring.
