The Goal of drbnktrust is to mobilize women & youth as vibrant human resources for the development of society and child development, working with and contributing to the prioritization of education, health, the environment and, in a broader sense for poverty alleviation, approaches that include women.
Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas
The income level of many families is low and their only option is to depend on the nearby forest for fuel. This organisation is also promoting micro-enterprise based livelihood support to groups, which will enable them to purchase LPG connections.
drbnktrust works to propagate awareness for the protection and conservation of the environment by educating women and men of underprivileged society to adopt modern technical and cooking facilities, so that the environment remains clean and the health of women who cook is maintained. We conduct educational courses, workshops and seminars to encourage the masses to use better technologically-developed cooking facilities and adopt gas fuel while cooking.
drbnktrust has conducted thorough research of the market for better quality cooking apparatuses and advises the masses to adopt these for their daily use. Some initial subsidies are required to install the LPG stoves, for which we are seeking external support.
The drbnktrust research team has proposed certain simple and adoptable, as well as sustainable and cheaper, processes to users for cooking. Better ventilation faculties were chalked out to enable the weaker section to adopt practices for sustainable use.
Our volunteers visit the families who have opted to use our technology, to see their reaction and advise them in case they have problems. Every quarter our research team also reviews adaptability and other miscellaneous problems faced.
