Mission

Strategic objectives of the All Nations Christian Care (ANCC) To carry out and coordinate relief activities in disaster affected areas in times of war, famine, earth quake, floods, droughts, raids or any other kind of natural disaster by carrying out rescue and evacuation operations, resettlements, reorganization of displaced people, refugees, etc by distribution of food, clothing, bedding, cooking utensils to this disadvantage people. Supporting government policies and actions that promote sustainable livelihood of the most disadvantaged poor mostly orphans, widow, war-affected people and HIV/AIDS aids victims. To establish, develop and run charitable programmes and projects for social development and rehabilitation for the improvement and promotion of a higher living standard and welfare of the rural communities and to alleviate human suffering in times of need and emergencies of what ever nature.

ANCC operates in Uganda and Southern Sudan, with Refugees communities in Sudan and Internally displaced people in Northern Uganda. Other development project are in poverished communities greatly affected by the cycle of poverty and HIV/AIDS.

Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas

Social/Cultural barriers to using traditional fuels and stoves:

Training and demonstration in a need saturated communities, is the case for IDP and Refugees situation


Market development for improved cooking technologies:

Target population were IDPs. Market development is from experiences gained in this communities as the are presently returning on with full knowledge of the benefits of improeved stoves. Better improvement on acquisition of funding to pilot Market development.


Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

Consultaions with Other NGOs and Approvecho has been going on,but better improvement through training and exchange with at ETHOS, stove camps as well as conferences.


Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

Training on Monitoring was inadquately carried out both no substantial for ANCC to carry out field testing
