Primary Initiatives, Target Populations, and Scope of Work:

RURAL ELECTRIFICATION
50,000 customers will have access to electricity in 5 years
500 solars systems will installed in community or institutions
10,000 solar solar home system will be installed
DOMESTIC ENEGY
Creation of rural fuel wood market
1 million hectar of florest land will be manged by village to supply 70% of urban needs
Diffusion of 510,000 energy efficient stove (charcoal or wood) and 61,000 kerosene stove;
Increase butane consumption from 3,000 MT to 20,000 MT
Help to produce 10,000 MT of charcoal briquette
Diffusion of 20,000 energy efficient lamps and 2,000 evaporative air coolers

Cooking habits: the majority of users are illiterate and need a lot of information, communication and education.


Market development for improved cooking technologies:

There is a huge potential for development.


Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

To manufacture improved wood or charcoal stove we have a standard.


Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

Not yet, as we don't yet have the proper instruments.
