Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas

Social/Cultural barriers to using traditional fuels and stoves:

We meet with small local rural organizations, and educational and community leaders for in-depth briefs on using traditional fuels and stoves and the health, environment, finicial benefits.

Market development for improved cooking technologies:

We have 12 unit offices and 4 divisional offices with 38 staff, who are trained in the renewable energy sector. We use many promotional materials for the renewable energy market & now successfully for ICS/biogas users.

Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

Bangladesh's Renewable Energy Sector forum meets monthly to discuss new technology.
As a PCIA forum member we look forward to new technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation.

Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

Our organization's dissemination of our renewable energy program depends on indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring. Staff monitor unit activities work weekly. With a PCIA monitoring system I hope for more success.
