ennovent (www.ennovent.com) is a young social venture capital company,
with the mission to promote for-profit entrepreneurs that advance
innovations for sustainability in developing countries.
Our Sustainable Enterprise Fund makes use of equity or loan investments
(but not grants) for innovative for-profit enterprises with innovations
that yield financial, in addition to social, economic and environmental,
returns. Focus sectors are renewable energy, clean air technology, water
management, organic agriculture, sustainable forestry and others in
South and South East Asia (preferably India, the Philippines, Thailand
and Vietnam). Capital commitments per enterprise are EUR 100,000 to
500,000 with a minimum return on investment of around 8% and a payback
or exit in five to seven years.
