Primary Initiatives, Target Populations, and Scope of Work:

We are working In India maninly in the states of Karnataka , Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, meghalaya. West Bengal, Manipur and Utter pradesh. We have started working in Nepal and Mauritius, Kenya, Mali, Ghana, Uganda, Senegal and Now extending our work to Burkina faso, Camaroon, Indonesia, Hondorus, Morocco and Liberia.

Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas

Social/Cultural barriers to using traditional fuels and stoves:

We have so far installed more than 250,000 improved wood fuel stoves. We have lot of experiance in this line. We have also installed about 80,000 family size bio gas plants in the past 15 years and very much sucessful in this line. We are into larger size biomethanation and have good expertise in power generation through biogas. We are also working in water management, village industries, gender and health of children.


Market development for improved cooking technologies:

We are already successful in marketing improved cooking technologies, biogas and waste treatment. This is one of the leading organisations in India in this area of work. Now we are working with 180,000 families in 10,000 villages.


Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

We have developemed some models for the sustanable working. We have one of the best technologies in waste disposal.


Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

We are jointly working with a medical college in studying the impacts of indoor Air pollution on the health of women and children.

Relevant Publications or Studies

We can train people of other net work members and we offer joint working with other organisation members. We provide internship to studnts from any other country.

Our Contribution to the Partnership

Since the organisation is already having lot of experiance we can share our experiance with others and strongly desire to learn from the experiance of others.
We also can take up trainings, internships for students and are ready to take up joint projects.
