Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas

Social/Cultural barriers to using traditional fuels and stoves:

getting Americans to take small scale solar seriously and getting them to use solar cookers is extreamly difficult because they are seen as 3 world tools.

Market development for improved cooking technologies:

We use two solar cookers exclusively because their design is most "American" in appearance. The Tulsi solar cooker and the SOS sport, I do demos at grocery stores and outdoor festivals or farmers markets and of course we supply them to our clients (micro enterprise) We also promote them on the web.

Technology standardization for cooking, heating and ventilation:

We are using the tulsi and SOS sport exclusively

Indoor air pollution exposure and health monitoring:

I do demos at grocery stores and outdoor festivals or farmers markets and of course we supply them to our clients (micro enterprise) We also promote them on the web."
