==UNDP announce vacancy for French speaking consultant to support NGOs in Republic of Congo==

UNDP Brazzaville supports a women's NGO, "Women and Power" in promotion of improved stoves and provides funds to the "Improved Stove Development Programme (Programme du Développement des Foyers Améliorés, PDFAM)" in the Republic of Congo, implemented by the Female Energy Association (l'association Femme Energies, F&E). The programme aims to design, produce, disseminate and promote improved stoves using less firewood for households in the Republic of Congo. Also it analyzes the quality of the potential use of different clay deposit to resist heat and to develop a stove made of metal or ceramic insert. In this regard, UNDP Brazzaville is looking for a French speaking consultant who has expertise in metal and ceramic to support NGOs in the choice of materials. The consultant will have primary role of assessing and determining the best clay sites (easily accessible from Brazzaville) and will assist in the design of the production chain, working closely with the F&E and supported by the Ministry of Women's Integration.
