Center for Renewable Energy Development

Mission

Created in 1982, the Center for Renewable Energy Development is a public institution attached to the Ministry of Energy and Mining. The mission of the center are:

  • Development: research and technology adaptation, equipment and quality control, capacity building through our center of training
  • Promotion: energy resources assessment (wind, solar, biomass), sites identification and project support and monitoring, marketing, financing and communications tools conception and deployment, improvement of access to clean technologies.
