RFQ: Development of Fuel Efficiency, Emissions and Safety Performance Standards for the PCIA

The EPA has announced a Notice of Intent to issue a Request for Quotation for Development of Fuel Efficiency, Emissions and Safety Performance Standards for the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air.

From the Statement of Work

"...the Contractor shall identify existing and in-progress standards related to improved cook stoves used in developing countries; draft proposed voluntary fuel efficiency, emissions and safety performance standards for improved cook stoves for public comment; and convene a well-attended workshop of key international stakeholder organizations and subject matter experts from the public and private sectors to refine and come to consensus on both the proposed voluntary standards and any actions that might be undertaken to promote their use and adoption."

The estimated level of effort for this requirement is 550 hours, and the period of performance is from award through February 28, 2011.

Quotes must be submitted electronically no later than 11:00 am ET on February 8, 2010 to the EPA contacts listed in the RFQ.
