Winrock International is seeking a Senior Program Associate/Program Officer for Clean Energy.
Winrock International is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to work with the poor and disadvantaged in the United States and around the world to help them increase long term productivity, equity and sustainable resource management. Program emphasis includes agriculture and rural development, forestry and natural resource management, rural enterprise and employment, renewable energy, and women's leadership. Over 100 projects are underway in sixty developing countries and the United States.
Position Summary:
The Senior Program Associate/Program Officer for Clean Energy supports project implementation and new business development activities related to household energy (reducing fuel use and indoor smoke exposure from cooking and heating in the developing world through technology, fuel and behavioral interventions). This position is contingent on receiving expected donor funding.
