Our Focus
At the moment the mission is to identify the best stoves in each category of natural draft, forced draft, portable and fixed stoves. Developing a relatively simple stove testing protocol that can be referred to by manufacturers as well as user's to evaluate an improved stove before selling and buying it.
Our Experience And Interest In The Four PCIA Central Focus Areas
While working in rural areas I have come across many socio -cultural barriers that prevented adoption of good practices and technology and would be interested in working on this aspect.
Market development is a very important part of adoption of new stove and fuel technologies and it will be interesting to work on this.
A lot of work was conducted in various projects to standardize the stove testing technologies and I have had the opportunity to be part of some of them
I have over 10 years experience in monitoring and evaluating cooking stoves both in the laboratory and field.
