Columbia Univeristy - Biomass Working Group

Mission

A Columbia University working group (the biomass working group, or BWG) convened in 2007 to foster research related to the health impacts of traditional biomass cooking. Members of the group are currently active in Uganda (Vijay Modi), India (Jeaneane D’Armiento, Vijay Modi, Darby Jack, Patrick Kinney), and Ghana (Robin Whyatt, Darby Jack, Patrick Kinney). Past work has involved research in Kenya and Rwanda.
